Hi! My name is Tami Santy. Welcome to Motion is Power Fitness & Nutrition! My passion is instilling a love of movement into people’s lives, helping them feel good about themselves and their bodies through fitness and great nutrition. I am 54 years old and want people to realize that age doesn’t have to slow you down. The photos on this site were taken right after my 50th birthday and have not been retouched in any manner. I am in the best shape of my life right now and it is all because I keep moving and eat right. My goal is to help you do the same. Our bodies are a gift we should cherish – let me help you keep yours in optimum condition!
I am an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor with over 18 years experience. A former high school teacher, I combined my love of fitness and teaching after becoming a mother of two, and got certified to help others reach their fitness goals. I am a Functional Aging Specialist, a certified Level 2 Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition, and an Integrative Corrective Exercise Specialist. I also hold certifications in TRX Suspension Training, Rip Training, Tabata Bootcamp, Cardio Kickboxing, and Barre Above..
If you are looking for group classes, small group training or one-on-one training, I am here to help you reach your fitness goals. I am an independent trainer so all services are available without a gym membership. Currently, most classes are offered through the City of Long Beach Parks & Recreation Department, and personal training is done at your home, office, outdoors, or my home.
